Local Solidaire

Projet Protéiforme (graphic design, construction, workshops and participatory initiatives), located at 19 rue Jean-Perrin in Ivry-sur-Seine, on the outskirts of Paris. 

The project was initiated by local neighbourhood committees and carried out in partnership with the Petit-Ivry community centre, with funding from the neighbourhood life department and the city of Ivry-sur-Seine. The collective Nrp ! assisted with opening the centre and the activities organised to furnish and decorate the facility. Nrp ! provided the project with its resources at the facility.

Phase 1: October to December 2015

Opening on 31 October: meeting with local residents, autumn swap, anti-waste cooking workshops, 

serigraphy workshop; attendance: between 30 and 50 people; time: from 12pm to 6pm.

Centre renovation workshops: 5, 12 and 28 December 2015 from 2pm to 5pm.

Each group of 10 children and 5 adults took part in cleaning, tidying up, stripping, painting and an initial furniture workshop. 

Participatory furniture workshops: 22, 23 and 24 December 2015 from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.

Each group of 10 children and 2 adults took part in building a bar, a sofa, 5 bar stools, 4 chairs, 1 coffee table and 2 other tables.
