A library  is above all books and space dedicated to reading. A space propitious to imaginations, concentration  and dreaming.

This library had not been renovated since its construction, back in 1974. Thus, the stake was to raise the willingness to spend some time there.

Organising the space was led by the idea of becoming the support of any history. The mobility of elements and the distinction of volumes trigger a multi-approach : isolating, keep concentrated, get together, have some rest…

An environment suitable for diving into the books and nuture their imagination.

Following to a workshop dedicated to the book during which the children brought their favorite one, the book-classifying respects how the organization children chose : i.e. Imaginary, Documentary, Adventure.

The uses of space is different according to the type of reading, so such furniture is suitable for each kind of story.

Furniture and lighting as the flying books have been especially designed for this project..
